TNews, PESISIR SELATAN –<\/strong> Kado akhir tahun, Pemerintah Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan (Pessel), Sumbar terima penghargaan Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM) Award 2024 dari Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia.<\/p>\n

Penghargaan STBM award 2024 ini, diserahkan Wakil Menteri Kesehatan RI Dante Saksono Harbuwono, berlangsung di The. St. Regis, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa 10 Desember 2025.<\/p>\n

Selain Pessel, tiga daerah lainnya dj Sumbar juga mendapat penghargaan STBM award. Dalam penyerahan perhargaan ini Bupati Pesisir Selatan, Rusma Yul Anwar didamping Kadis Kesehatan Pessel, Agustina Rahmadani.<\/p>\n

Bupati Pessel Rusma Yul Anwar menyampaikan, terima kasih atas dukungan dari masyarakat, perangkat daerah, serta berbagai pihak yang telah berkolaborasi dalam mewujudkan program sanitasi yang berdampak positif terhadap daerah.<\/p>\n

\u201cPengelolaan limbah yang baik, serta perubahan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Penerimaan penghargaan ini menjadi bukti nyata komitmen pemda Pesisir Selatan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat dan layak huni bagi warganya,\u201d ungkapnya<\/p>\n

Ia mengharapkan, agar Pesisir Selatan terus mendorong inisiatif-inisiatif berbasis masyarakat dalam bidang sanitasi untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat terus diakomodir secara baik.<\/p>\n

\u201cLebih baik dan menjadi contoh bagi daerah lain dalam melakukan sanitasi berbasis masyarakatnya,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n

Wakil Menteri Kesehatan RI Dante Saksono Harbuwono mengatakan STBM ditetapkan sebagai kebijakan nasional berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 3 tahun 2014 tentang Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat.<\/p>\n

Menurutnya, STBM merupakan pendekatan dan paradigma baru bagi pembangunan sanitasi di Indonesia yang mengedepankan pemberdayaan masyarakat dan perubahan perilaku.<\/p>\n

\u201cYaitunya, bertujuanuntuk mewujudkan perilaku masyarakat yang higienis secara mandiri dalam rangka meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n

Kabupaten Pessel sebelumnya, juga telah menerima penghargaan STBM Award kategori ODF (Open Defecation Free) pada tahun 2022 yang kemudian pada tahun ini kembali maju dan berhasil meraih penghargaan STBM award kategori madya.<\/p>\n

Penghargaan pertama berupa STBM berkelanjutan dengan 5 pilar yakni Stop Buang Air Sembarangan, cuci tangan pakai sabun, pengelolaan air minum dan makanan rumah tangga, pengamanan sampah rumah tangga dan pengamanan limbah cair rumah tangga. Kemudian pada tahun ini dengan kategori STBM Award Madya.*<\/p>\n
